We spent the morning at the National Cathedral, then we met Shawn at the zoo in the afternoon. Later, we all met Stacey for lunch and had a great time.

A day at the National Cathedral
Recently, we spent a day in DC and visited the National Cathedral. I highly recommend it. Even if you don't consider yourself religious--see it for the art and architecture. It is amazing!
Side note: I first read about the National Cathedral in Margaret Truman's book: Murder At The National Cathedral. So, finally, I was able to see where the "murder" took place--in the Bethlehem Chapel.
